The Strike Gundam model appears to be progressing albeit very slowly. Here are some update pics for the 2 people who might actually still read this.

The model is almost done and only requires a little tweaking with the hands and its back.

While I’m working on the Strike Gundam, I’m also working on the Exia Gundam from the series Mobile Suit Gundam 00. Here’s a work-in-progress of the GN Long Blade.

Lots of fine tuning still required.

Just as a personal project, this blog will document my Gundam modeling progress. I’ll post test renders of my models more or less like on Anaheim Machines. I’ve been a fan of Sandrum’s work for quite a while now and when I was able to model anything at all, I immediately attempted to model a Gundam. My first one attempt is the GAT X-105 Strike Gundam from the Cosmic Era series.

The model I’m working on isn’t actually the original one but more of a hybrid of many versions that I find appealing. I haven’t been working with 3D for a very long time starting only about 6 months ago. I do my modeling with 3DS Max 2010 which is what I’ve been taught to use.

That’s as far as I’ve gotten for now.
